Rajasthan Government under Ashok Gehlot removes Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay’s photo on Government Offices, Letter Heads and State Government document. The state BJP criticized the shameful act of the Government.

Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay’s was a Gandhian social reformer and had worked on Gandhian principles such as sarvodaya (progress of all), swadeshi (Indianisation), and Gram Swaraj (village self rule). He was also the founding member of Bharatiya Jana Sangh.

The Congress had recently ended up in a controversy by prohibiting ‘Vande Mataram’ in Madhya Pradesh Government.
