Finance Minister Piyush Goyal proposed the changes in the tax exemption slab. Tax exemption slab rises to up to 5 Lakh annual income releaving the burden on the Middle Class families.
This was expected considering the huge uproar by the Middle Class on the meagre 2.5 Lakh Tax Exemption Slab.
