CPIM Secretary Athul Das of Perumbra has alledged stoned the mosque in Kozhikode district.
He disguised himself as an RSS worker and pelted stone towards the mosque.
The incident was soon reported by the local Indian Union Muslim League leaders who mistook him as a RSS worker.
Mr. Das was immediately arrested and taken to custody where he revealed the truth. Upon interrogation he accepted his intention was to incite communal violence between the communities.

The Hindu did not reveal the fact that Mr. Das was disguising himself as a RSS Worker.
