Over 100 of Muslims torched 18 houses and burnt hundreds of motorbikes belonging to Hindus in the sensitive area of Bhainsa. Over eleven people have been injured in the communal violence. The attack was allegedly led against the local community leader by a mob of more than hundred Muslims.
The riot-gear policemen have been brought from neighboring district to bring the situation under control.
The Police have imposed section 144 of the CrPC in the area. Internet has been temporarily suspended in the entire district. Additional policemen from neighbouring districts were deployed to bring the situation under control. The Police have assured that the guilty will be identified soon and brought to justice.
